If reconstruction is art, and the body a canvas, why not build upon and layer the art.

One balmy summer evening in 2025, an idea popped into my mind. If I’m viewing my body as art, embracing my scars, and forgoing nipple reconstruction, the next step seemed clear.

The goal was not to disguise or cover the scars, but rather use them as a stake for the roses.
